The Hope Group was founded in 1933 by the Rhoten family of Massachusetts. The history of The Hope Group shows it was originally established to provide industrial rubber products for consumers and industry. The company experienced strong growth as it expanded into fluid power products in 1960 through its affiliation as an authorized distributor for Parker Hannifin. As a full-line distributor for Parker, it has earned the designation as a Technology Center for Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Mobile components and systems.
