Hope Air Systems Expands Field Service Capabilities

(Northborough MA) 12-29-2015 - Hope Air Systems has recently announced that it has expanded its field service capabilities to include hydraulic power systems and electrical control panels to its long-time experience as a premium compressed air maintenance provider. The decision to expand its capabilities was driven by demands from existing customers to provide the same level of preventive and emergency maintenance support to hydraulic and electrical systems that they have relied on for air compressors, dryers, and other accessories.

“We are pleased to provide these expanded services, which increase the efficiency of maintenance support for our many OEM customers,” said Steve Torigian, Service Manager. “Our association with The Hope Group as a subsidiary of THG Corporation, provided a ready source of highly skilled technicians with extensive background in hydraulics and electrical controls,” added Steve. Previously, according to Steve, field service was provided on an as requested basis for customers, but there was no formal system to provide regularly scheduled Preventive or Predictive Maintenance services.

“Our hydraulic and electrical control customers knew we could help them in an emergency, or that as time allowed we could release some of our expert technicians to field service on a selective basis, but that really didn’t meet long-term quality service needs for many customers,” said Steve. “Our new Hope-Service department will provide a needed preventive and emergency system for all customers, regardless of the type of equipment,” added Steve.

Hope Air Systems is an authorized Kaeser Compressor distributor and is a custom skid-mounted compressor power systems designer/builder supplying systems nationally and internationally for the past 50 years. Featuring rotary screw compressors from Kaeser and oil-free and piston equipment from other leading manufacturers, Hope Air Systems has a fleet of service vehicles and factory-trained technicians covering all six New England states.

Established Hope-Service

The expanded field service capability is being presented to the marketplace through its new department, Hope-Service. As a subsidiary of THG Corporation, the company utilizes all eight branch locations of The Hope Group to put parts, systems, and skilled technicians within easy reach throughout the region. It also draws on the vast hydraulic and pneumatic technical capabilities of Sorensen Systems, the engineering and fabrication subsidiary of THG Corporation. The Sales Engineers from Hope Air Systems and The Hope Group are prepared to offer system technical advice including air demand analysis, air flow measurement, air leak detection, condensate management, energy management, and fluid analysis.

“I can’t overemphasize how important it is for the maintenance and facility manager to have a consistent, reliable, and efficient field service provider, such as Hope-Service, to meet its routine and emergency service requirements. Our new commitment to bring compressed air, hydraulic power unit, and electrical control field service continues our approach to seeking how to best meet the changing requirements of our customers,” said Steve.

“Quality field service is no mystery,” said Steve Torigian. “We have the skilled technicians, we have the authentic factory parts, and we have vast resources within THG Corporation to trouble-shoot and engineer solutions for our customers,” he added. “Our rate chart is posted on our website so that our customers can compare what we offer compared to the competition. We have customers who have been relying on us for decades and they can testify to the value we bring to routine and emergency field service for compressed air – and now, especially for hydraulic power systems and electrical controls,” added Steve.
