Twin Diamond Team Awards
Received By The Hope Group

Northborough, MA (12-11-2006) Tony Cantone, President of The Hope Group Corporation today announced that Diamond Team Awards had been received by The Hope Group from the Parker Hannifin Hydraulic Group and Fluid Connector Group for the fiscal year 2006. The awards were earned by The Hope Group in recognition of successfully exceeding the goals established by Parker's Divisional and Sales Team.

"The Hope Group has once again achieved a significant milestone in the partnership with Parker Hannifin by successfully fulfilling all the requirements for the Fluid Connector Group Diamond Team Award for fiscal year 2006," said George Altmeyer, Fluid Connector Regional Sales Manager.

"The Hope Group met or exceeded the challenging goals of the Parker Hydraulics Group for fiscal 2006 and we are pleased to recognize their achievement with the Diamond Team Award," said Dan Detweiler, Hydraulics Division Regional Sales Manager.

In accepting the two awards on behalf of The Hope Group and THG Corporation, Tony Cantone said, "We accept this recognition from Parker on behalf of the entire outside sales, inside sales, customer service, engineering and technical support teams."

Phil Lund, VP Motion Control for The Hope Group said," These two awards are proof positive of the cooperative efforts between the Parker and Hope Group sales and service teams. We are proud of the results for the current year and are committed to meeting the new challenges together, for the coming year," he added.

Commenting on the twin awards, Carey Rhoten, Chairman of THG Corporation said, "To be named among the best producers among Parker distributors is quite an achievement, but to win recognition for Hydraulics and Fluid Connectors in the same year is a rare accomplishment. Congratulations to everyone," he added.

According to Tony Cantone, the Diamond Team Awards recognize the achievement of meeting or exceeding sales volume goals overall and for specific goals among selected target accounts. "Combined with the overall volume goal, these two successful results speak highly of the dedication and talent of our sales, fabrication and customer service teams," said Cantone.

The Hope Group is a member company of the THG Corporation and operates as a full-line distributor of Parker products including fluid connectors, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, instrumentation and seals throughout the six New England states. The corporate logo was developed in conjunction with a name change and the relocation to Central Massachusetts about 25 years ago. The triangle design reflected on the three divisions operating at the time, which included The Hope Group, Hope Air Systems and Sorensen Governor. Today, the Hope Air and Sorensen divisions are independent companies, having formed their own LLC’s, and all three companies are subsidiaries of THG Corporation. The logo continues to reflect the wide range of products, systems and engineered solutions provided by The Hope Group.
