Hydraulic Plumbing Workshop
Northboro, MA (1-27-2006) Tony Cantone, President of The Hope Group, today announced the company will be presenting a series of hydraulic plumbing workshops over a three-day period from February 28, 2006 through March 2, 2006 in Portland, ME, Northboro, MA and Cranston RI, at facilities operated by The Hope Group. The “hands-on” training during the all-day workshops will feature presentations by experts from Parker Hannifin and other suppliers that The Hope Group represents for hydraulic and pneumatic industrial systems and components throughout New England.
“As part of our continuing effort to bring the latest technology and techniques to our customers, we are looking forward to this latest workshop series,” said Tony Cantone. “Our customers continue to turn to us when seeking excellence in system design, installation and troubleshooting on hydraulic plumbing systems,” added Cantone.
The first workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28, 2006 from 8:00 a.m., to 3:00 p.m., at The Leen Company offices, 111 Pine Tree Industrial Parkway, Portland, ME. The second workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, March 1, 2006, from 8:00 a.m., to 3:00 p.m., at The Hope Group offices, 70 Bearfoot Road, Northboro, MA. The final workshop is scheduled for Thursday, March 2, 2006 from 8:00 a.m., to 3:00 p.m., at Bosworth Fluid Connectors, 215 Niantic Avenue, Cranston, RI.
There are four main topics scheduled for the workshops, according to Tony Cantone. They are:
- Hydraulic Hose Plumbing
- Metric Fitting Identification
- Dry Technology
- Hydraulic Tube Bending
According to Tony Cantone, experts from The Hope Group and Parker will lead hands-on demonstrations to explain the latest developments in hydraulic plumbing technology. The all-day program is free and a lunch will be provided at no cost.
During the Hydraulic Hose Plumbing workshop, the participants will receive specific instructions and guidelines on how to select, assemble and route the proper hydraulic hose and fitting combination for maximum safety, service life and with zero leakage.
The Metric Fitting Identification workshop will allow participants to learn how to identify the port and tube end of any metric tube fitting or adapter, using simple gauges and calipers and how to select the right metric fitting for each application.
The Dry Technology workshop will help designers, assemblers and maintenance personnel to learn how to select, assemble and install hydraulic tubing, tube fittings and adapters.
The Hydraulic Tube Bending workshop will feature experts teaching how to accurately bend hydraulic tubing for optimum efficiency, leak proofing and aesthetics. Tony Cantone said The Hope Group would be providing the tooling for the workshop.
