Hope Group Presenting Technical Seminars
Targeting the Marine Industry
Northboro, MA – (2-1-2005) The Hope Group today announced another in its series of technical seminars to be held next month in Portland, Maine and Newport, Rhode Island. The technical seminars will feature systems and component solutions to meet the needs of marine industry customers, including boat builders, boat yards, boat repair facilities and other marine services businesses. The technical seminars will feature industry experts providing instruction and demonstrations of marine hose, marine fittings, marine steering systems, marine control systems, such as bow thrusters and stabilizers, as well as, a variety of electronic and computer-controlled monitoring systems.

According to Tony Cantone , VP of Sales for The Hope Group, this is one in a continuing series of seminars presented by the company to its customers on the latest developments in products and systems for the marine industry. “Interest continues to grow among our customers for more technical training in the state-of-the-art systems and components becoming available,” said Cantone. “Our seminars last year were well attended and this series is being presented on some of the topics that our customers asked us to bring to them,” he added.

Representatives will be making presentations from Racor Filtration, Micad Controls, Wesmar Bow Thrusters, Trident Hose and Parker Hannifin Hydraulics and Hose. The all-day sessions will feature one-hour presentations on each topic with opportunities for hands-on demonstrations.

The first seminar will be Wednesday, March 9, 2005 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , at the Portland Marriott at Sable Oaks, South Portland , Maine . The second seminar will be Thursday, March 10, 2005 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , at the Newport Marriott, Newport , Rhode Island .
