The Hope Group Announces Hydraulic Training Sessions to Run on June 15

Northborough, MA (05-19-2016) – Tony Cantone, President of The Hope Group, today announced that on June 15, The Hope Group and Parker will offer its two most popular workshops, Hydraulic Fittings Thread ID and Safety Works at its Parker Store location in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Participants may elect to attend one or both seminars, according to Tony.

Experts from Parker and The Hope Group will provide free hands-on training for original equipment manufacturers and end users of hydraulic components and systems. “It’s an incredibly informative training plus we provide lunch to participants and a chance to win a DeWalt power tool in a prize drawing at the conclusion of the seminars,” says Tony.

Hydraulic Fittings Thread ID Training

8:30AM – 12:30PM
Certified trainers from Parker and The Hope Group provide students with instruction and hands-on training in various sealing methods common to hydraulics and to gain a working knowledge of the four-step process necessary to identify threads. Although Metric, British, SAE, and NPT are all common thread patterns found in today’s industrial workplace, they are often a mystery to many people. This interactive course combines classroom instruction with practical hands-on training. This course is for owner/operators, designers, repair technicians, engineers, and safety managers.

Safety Works Training

1:30PM – 3:30PM
The hydraulic plumbing seminar addresses the issue of hydraulic fluid escaping from pinhole leaks in hoses caused by factors such as age, incompatible fluids, hose twist, and minimum bend radius violations. Escaping pressurized fluids can travel at bullet speeds and can penetrate deep under the skin. The danger lies in the victim underestimating the need for immediate treatment. Often, the simple puncture would not appear as dangerous as it really is.

Participants will learn the five-step process for correct hose selection, the importance of proper hose assembly and routing guidelines to help prevent premature system failures. Certified trainers from Parker and The Hope Group lead students on how to avoid injection injuries and the importance of timely treatment should an injection occur. This course is for equipment operators, repair technicians, safety managers, engineers and anyone working with pressurized fluid or systems in motion.

How to Register
