The Basics of Pneumatic Technology Seminar Set For January 25, 2017 at The Hope Group

Northborough, MA (01-20-2017) – Bill Rodny, VP for Automation, today announced that The Hope Group was offering its Pneumatic Technology Seminar on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at its Training Center in Northborough, MA. The seminar will cover basic pneumatics technology and thread identification specifically designed for maintenance technicians, designers, and engineers.

Parker Pneumatic Territory Manager, Scott Matzelle, will present the basics of pneumatic technology seminar including the operation of pneumatic components such as actuators and valves; application of pneumatic technology; circuits; troubleshooting; force, pressure and area relationship; and thread identification.

The cost to attend this seminar is $49, which includes all course material and lunch. The seminar will run from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at The Hope Group’s Training Center, 70 Bearfoot Road, Northborough, MA 01532.

Scott Miller, Automation Sales Engineer, at The Hope Group said, “This training session is aimed at machine operators, factory technicians, designers, and engineers, who can benefit from the instruction in fundamentals of pneumatic technology. This is not a product demonstration session; this is a chance to learn basic pneumatic technology and applications.”

In addition to the pneumatic technology session, the seminar will feature a Thread ID training component, conducted by Bob Parent, Territory Manager for Parker, who will lead the hands-on session covering techniques for identifying commonly used threads (Metric, NPT, SAE, and British). This session will focus on training in various sealing methods common to hydraulics and to gain a working knowledge of the four-step process necessary to identify threads.
