The Hope Group Set To Open Parker Store In Woburn, Mass.

Grand opening on December 5 will feature 
Parker trade show and technical seminars

Northborough, MA (10-22-2018) – Tony Cantone, VP Sales & Marketing, today announced that the company will host a trade show and seminars at its grand opening on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 to celebrate the opening of its new Parker Store in Woburn, Massachusetts. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Parker’s product experts and participate in free seminars on motion control technologies.

The opening will mark Hope Group’s ninth branch location with an attached Parker Store in the New England region. The branch, located at 134B New Boston Street in Woburn, is expected to be open for business in December 2018. The 6,000 square foot facility will be equipped with a hose assembly fabrication area, service counter, and retail area stocked with more than 3,000 fluid connector parts.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide hose assembly replacement services at a convenient location located just minutes from major routes and interstates I-93 and I-95,” said Tony. “Our customers can now receive walk-in replacement damaged hose assembly ‘while they wait’ and receive assistance from a knowledgeable Parker product specialist, which are features unique to the Parker Stores,” he added.

Trade Show To Feature Parker Products

As part of the grand opening celebration on December 5, 2018, The Hope Group and Parker are sponsoring a trade show that will feature the latest in fluid connector, hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, and sealing technology products and systems. On exhibit will be information about Parker cylinders, valves, hose assemblies, hose crimpers, pneumatic fittings, tube fittings, quick disconnects, seals, and other components. Trained and certified experts in the various products will provide demonstrations and will be prepared to answer questions.

Free Technical Seminars

Technical seminars related to fluid power systems are available for at no cost to attendees at the grand opening event. seminars are designed specifically for engineers, technicians, and operators. Each of the four seminars will be conducted by ceritifed trainers from Parker and The Hope Group. Space is limited, so it is recommended that attendees pre-register.

The seminar also addresses the issue of hydraulic fluid escaping from pinhole leaks in hoses caused by factors such as age, incompatible fluids, hose twist, and minimum bend radius violations.
