Composite Seals

The composite seal is a custom-designed seal made of two or more different materials. For instance, the rubber can be bonded to metal, plastic or filter materials. This is done in order to simplify the design, avoid the tolerance stack-up and make the installation easier.

The Parker Composite Sealing Systems Division (CSS) offers design and manufacturing of engineered composite seals and sealing systems including metal-retained elastomeric combinations for static face seal applications and metal seals that are designed for extreme sealing environments. Parker seals are ISO 9000 , AS 9100, TS 16949, ISO 17025, ISO 14001 certified, and NADCAP accreditated for special processing.
