The Rhoten family established the Fitchburg Rubber Company in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, with a primary focus on manufacturing industrial rubber products.
Following World War II, we rebranded as Hope Rubber Company.
Expanded product range, Parker Hannifin distributor, rebranded as The Hope Group.
Acquired The Leen Company and opened ParkerStore locations in Bangor and South Portland, ME.
Acquired Bosworth Fluid Connectors, expanding our retail footprint with a new store in Cranston, RI.
Acquired Sprague Fluid Controls and launched our ParkerStore in Manchester, NH.
Expanded our reach in Maine by acquiring Webster Engineering in Lewiston and opening our 5th ParkerStore.
Opened our 2nd Massachusetts ParkerStore with the acquisition of Sprague Fluid Connectors in Weymouth.
Opened a Connecticut ParkerStore through the acquisition of Connecticut Fluid Power in North Haven, CT.
We became a division of KLX and achieved our AS9100 certification allowing us to service the aerospace industry..
